Expo!

Every year about this time, Frankfort experiences the Expo. I'm not really sure of the meaning behind the event, or why they have it during one of the hottest times of the year, but it's certainly fun. It's like a carnival, with all sorts of food, a few rides, and performances on stage. If I remember correctly, it culminates with a fireworks show this Saturday night.
I went to the Expo over lunch today. There was a plethora of food, so I had a really difficult time deciding. I met up with some old friends for lunch there (Mark and Louise, the short one), and ended up settling on a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Mmmmm. I went back over my afternoon break (I love working for the state. All sorts of breaks!) and got a bag of cotton candy. Not as good as I remembered, but that may have something to do with the sweltering heat (it was at least 90 degrees today!).
This evening, the wife and I went back to the expo (yeah, we go a lot) for dinner. I got a couple of hot dogs and a thing of nachos, and the wife got a pulled port sandwich, chips and beans. She was upset because her sandwich didn't come with BBQ sauce, but with the price of everything at the Expo, I'm not surprised they skimped out on the BBQ (her plate was $7, with no drink).
Afterward, I went to SuperCuts and got my head shaved. My head feels about 10lbs lighter.
Time to do some work for Foresight. Just working on packaging some applications at this point. The packaging contest is over, but I really want to be a Foresight developer, so I'm happy to continue contributing to the community and the distro.
