It's been a while since I posted here, and just wanted to give a few updates.

As everyone knows, the holidays are coming up. The wife and I will be vising my family for Thanksgiving, and her family for Christmas. Next year, I believe she wants to start having Christmas day at our house, then going to one or the other set of parents afterward (for the sake of the upcoming baby). We'll see when the time comes. I've got to say though, I'm really looking forward to some time off work and some good food, family, and fun.

I recently realized that I had never seen any of the original 6 Star Trek movies, so I've made it my goal before the end of the year to watch all of them (including the newer 4 movies). I've made it through the first 4, so 2 more originals then the last 4 and I'm golden. I'd like to watch them all before the new movie comes out in May of next year. Trailer #2 for it can be found at http://www.startrekmovie.com/.

In other vaguely uninteresting news, I started playing video games again recently. Don't know what I did with all my time before, but I'm looking forward to playing more often now. I picked up Left 4 Dead on the Xbox 360, and I'm loving it. I haven't had a chance to play the co-op game with other people online yet, but if it's anything like the demo was, it's going to be sweet. I did do a couple of pick-up groups with people online, doing levels I hadn't done before, and it gets more than a little frustrating being shot in the back. Just need to find better players, I guess. I'm also looking forward to finding time to play some of the PC games I've gotten recently, like Bioshock, Dead Space, and Fallout 3. I played a little of the first two already, and they're ok. I'm really looking forward to Fallout 3 though. I watched the 5-part youtube gameplay series on it (starts here), and it looks SWEET.

I think that's all for now. We've got baby showers coming up in the next few weeks, so hopefully we won't have to buy ourselves all the stuff on our registries (*crossing fingers*), but if it comes down to it, we'll be ok. Later, guys!
